OASI contributions after the reference age :
People continuing to work after the reference age can, under certain conditions, credit OASI contributions and use additional contribution periods to close gaps. Pensioners are free to choose whether to deduct the OASI allowance of CHF 1'400.00 per month or CHF 16'800.00 per year. Employed people wishing to waive the allowance must inform their employer at the latest when they receive their first salary after reaching the reference age. Self-employed people who wish to waive the allowance must inform their compensation office by 31 December of the contribution year.
